COVID-19 Reciprocal Boaters Restrictions

With the Roadmap to Reopening – Step 2 Measures for the Province of Ontario, the Whitby Yacht Club Board of Directors have decided to open our Club to reciprocal boaters with the following caveats.

1. There will be five slips available per night – visiting boats will require a slip request with 48 hours notice via the WYC Reciprocal From: https://forms.gle/c3ktY7Qnkh7HsgM98
2. Visitors must receive confirmation of their reciprocal request from WYC Staff before arriving.
2. Visitors will be encouraged to call ahead on VHF68 before arriving at the Club and staff will meet you at the dock in order to check-in with the COVID-19 Screening and additional information.

The normal rules will apply to visiting boaters as per our Reciprocal Protocol and Agreements.

Welcome to Whitby Yacht Club

The Whitby Yacht Club is an established yachting club located in the historic Whitby Harbour overlooking the beautiful Lake Ontario. Whitby Yacht Club set a course in 1966 to build an active and comprehensive yachting facility for members of all ages. Today the WYC holds true to that course. We have established a premier social and recreational club where members and their families enjoy a distinctive environment.

The Whitby Yacht Club offers a varied calendar of exciting events in an atmosphere of good fellowship… we have something for everyone from bridge and book clubs, to dinner and dancing, to yacht racing, to marine education and cruising. If you’ve ever wanted a place to get away from it all without leaving town, here it is.

Welcome aboard! We invite you to explore our website, come visit us, or contact us for information.
